How much is a week at La Maladrerie?

From €399 in low season to €511 between 8 July and 2 September, for the whole house and up to six guests. Mid season is €455.

What deposits are required?

Two deposits are handed over on arrival and returned on departure: €300 for the house and €650 for the billiard table.

Are utilities included?

Electricity and heating are charged by meter reading at the end of the stay, plus a tourist tax of €1.10 per person per day.

Three worked examples

A family week in August (6 guests). €511 for the house plus €46.20 tourist tax (€1.10 × 6 guests × 7 days), so about €557 excluding utilities — under €14 per person per night.

A weekend with friends in March (6 guests). €270 for two nights plus €13.20 tourist tax, so about €283 excluding heating — around €24 per person per night.

A week for two in October. €455 for the whole house plus €15.40 tourist tax. The rate does not depend on the number of guests: as a couple you pay for the house, but you have all of it to yourselves.

Electricity and heating are added by meter reading. In summer consumption is marginal; in winter it depends on your use and on the weather.

How do I book?

Is a deposit payable when booking?

A deposit is requested at booking to hold the dates, with the balance settled on arrival. Details are given when your booking is confirmed.

Does the rate depend on how many of us there are?

No. The house is let whole at a single rate, whether there are two of you or six. Only the tourist tax is calculated per person per day.

Are arrival days fixed?

In high season the rental runs Saturday to Saturday. Outside French school holidays we are more flexible: suggest your dates.

What happens if I have to cancel?

Let us know as soon as possible: the conditions are given to you in writing when your booking is confirmed.
